Pakistan Army Chief Witnesses Military Exercise in PoK

Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday visited a subject coaching space close to Kotli in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) the place he was briefed about conduct modalities of a Corps stage train, the military stated.

The train Taskheer-e-Jabal’ is geared toward enhancing operational preparedness of formations, encompassing defensive and offensive duties throughout varied contingencies inside an operational cycle, stated a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) – the army’s media wing.

“Rigorous coaching and continued follow of operational drills are crucial for efficient response to huge ranging threats, Gen Bajwa advised the troops. The troops and items taking part within the train will rehearse varied defensive and offensive manoeuvres within the mountainous terrain, the assertion added.
